The Agortime-Ziope District Child Protection Committee convened on 23rd February 2026 at the District Assembly Hall to deliberate on key child protection issues affecting the district.
The meeting brought together committee members and partner institutions to review concerns, strengthen coordination, and reinforce collective efforts toward safeguarding children. Representatives from DOVVSU, the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), World Vision, traditional authorities, and Compassion Ghana were encouraged to deepen collaboration and improve reporting mechanisms to ensure timely and effective responses to child protection cases.
