AGORTIME-ZIOPE DISTRICT ASSEMBLY HANDS OVER TWO MOTORBIKES TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AND SANITATION UNIT (EHSU)
The District Chief Executive of the Agortime-Ziope District Assembly, on Monday, 23rd February 2026, officially handed over two newly procured motorbikes to the Environmental Health and Sanitation Unit (EHSU) to enhance service delivery across the district.
The presentation was witnessed by the District Coordinating Director (DCD), Mr. Akuffo K. Reuben, the District Finance Officer (DFO), Procurement Officer, District Development Planning Officer, Transport Officer, and Environmental Health Officers.
The acquisition forms part of the Assembly’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the operational capacity of the EHSU and improving sanitation management throughout the district.
Receiving the motorbikes on behalf of the Unit, the District Environmental Health Officer, Millicent Mensah, expressed appreciation to management for the timely intervention, noting that the additional logistics will significantly improve mobility and enable Environmental Health Officers to carry out their responsibilities more effectively.
